The first and only twins to be included in our ‘Kids of the Coast’ book are local girls Poppy and Milly Marshall.  We started snapping away at home in their beautiful cottage garden and then ventured to a favourite beach in Flynns on Phillip Island.  On location at the beach Sarah took advantage of having me there photographing the girls for the book and got some family portraits done also.  Here’s a few of many great images from their session.

The first portrait session shot in Wonthaggi for the ‘Kids of the Coast’ book was for the Fincher family.  Little Hayden & Jarvis were an absolute pleasure to photograph as they played cricket and rode their trucks and scooters.  After capturing some fantastic images at home we ventured to the state coal mine.  What a setting this was for the kids and a sentimental one for Mum Belinda as her father used to work at the mines.  Enjoy these few snaps from the session!

Now here is a family who have spent half their life down the beach! so obviously that is where we headed for some great portrait and family shots. We started at their home where the boys had on their buisness atire and also brought out their fancy cars. Its was a nice day down the beach at Cape Woolamai and thankfully there weren’t too many people crowding the sandy shores.

Not only does Levi have a cool name but at the age of 3 is the proud owner of his very own dirt bike! Levi enjoyed cruising around on his bike, dressed in all the right gear, with the help of his dad. The area was a fantastic spot for family photos, providing a variety of different scenic options for the Jones family.

Neelam was born in India but now lives with her family on Phillip Island, so on arrival I was very happy to see her dressed in her traditional sari clothing. After capturing some beautiful shots of her at home we ventured to the Newhaven jetty where her dad was waiting with his yacht. She loves fishing on the boat so we thought it was the perfect setting for more photos.

Cheryle Rowe decided to put her grandchildren in the ‘Kids of the Coast’ book. They had some photos taken in the backyard and down on the Rhyll Foreshore, always a great spot for photos. Don’t you just love the curls!

We met Nicole, Scott and Dash down the beach in Mornington on late Sunday morning. Luckily there weren’t too many people out and about which was great for photos. Dash came along for the drive and was looking very handsome after his bath the night before. Well that was until he chased some delicious looking seagulls into the water!! Nicole and Scoot will be tying the knot in March and we wish them the best of luck. This also means you will get to see plenty more photos on the website of them after thier wedding.

The Say family from San Remo and the owners of the popular Westernport Hotel, had some photos taken recently at the Back beach of San Remo and then at home.  The photoshoot was for the ‘Kids of the Coast’ book but they took the opportunity to get a few family photos taken aswell. We have a good number of great images to select from for the book of cheeky Evie and cute little Willow.
