Anthony and Chantelle – Phillip Island Wedding

Having already tied the knot, with their wedding held at Coal Creek.  Anthony & Chantelle wanted more of a fun relaxed photo session and in Chantelle’s words ‘to try and get some smiles out of anthony’.  :) And plenty of smiles we got!  They have some fantastic images to view very soon.

Duggan Family | Melbourne Family Photography

The Duggans are good friends of ours and each year to document the change in their lives, especially of the kids, they have a melbourne family photography portrait session.  As with the majority of our sessions, they are shot on location so we can really capture the kids ‘being kids’.

Alby the Bear Hunter | [Melbourne Family Photography]

This session was a fun one with little Alby.  We found out he had a huge teddy bear at home so we decided to do something a little on the more creative side rather than the normal Melbourne Family Photography that we’re used to.  Alby and family were all up for it!  So this is what we came up with….  ’Alby the Bear Hunter’

We’re always on the look out for families whom are interested in having some fun and doing something creative like this.  The kids always love it!  If anyone would like to have a session like this we would be willing to conduct the photography at no charge in order to help us with our creative portfolio.  If you’ve got some ideas please call as we’d love to hear them.

[Melbourne Family Photography] – Phillip Island

We had a recent request to photograph this gentleman with his beloved dog to be used as a gift for the family.  Wanting to create a warm & natural portrait I photographed him in the chair that he always sits on with of course his dog by his side.  To create that warm connection of the two together I really focused on highlighting them but also left enough light around the subjects to slightly emphasize the family photos on the wall beside him and obviously his homely natural environment.  With all our portrait photography we try to capture the images or tailor them to the look and feel our clients are after, and the only we we can do this is by meeting prior to discuss the session and get their thoughts. I think this image is a great reflection of the connection between man and his best mate.

Baby Photography Phillip Island – Our Little Macy (5months)

I realise now more than ever how lucky I am to be able to do what I do.  I always say the ‘true value of a photograph only improves with age’ and after seeing the photos of our Little Macy who has recently turned 5 months, those words really ring true.  To me these photos are already priceless so I can only imagine what they’ll mean to me in 20, 30, 50 years times.  One thing I am sure of is that I’ll never stop trying to capture special moments for me & my family and that Macy will be jack of her old man taking photos of her all the time.

These images were just taken using natural window light & reflector with Macy on her favourite sheep skin mat that Nan bought for her.

[Photography Mornington Peninsula] – The Fellner Family

The Peninsula Kids Book is slowly coming to a close with registrations and this is one of the last sessions we shot for the book.  A fun family session with the Fellner’s was had at their house which was a great setting for photography on mornington peninsula.   They had a beautiful house but it just goes to show that you don’t have to go to all magic locations to get fantastic photos.  The kids had a ball doing what they love to do and we also got some great intimate family moments.  These guys are yet to have their viewing session but I can tell you these images are just a few of a large number of fantastic pics so I can’t wait to show them all.
