Today I had the pleasure of taking a photography enthusiast out for a one on one Landscape Tuition. The weather wasn’t all that kind to us, infact it was pretty bloody cold but Jass managed to get some fantastic images. Some of the topics covered include lenses, camera settings, composition, different exposures including bracketing and also many editing skills using lightroom & photoshop. If anyone is interested in finding out more take a look here landscapetuition or please call the studio on 59566728. Check out some of the great seascapes Jass managed below.

I recently entered a few prints into the Victoria Professional Photography awards and won a silver for the print below. Usually entering wedding prints I decided I’d do something different as I love taking landscapes but just don’t get the time to shoot them. This one was taken on a trip up the centre of Aus last year at the Devils Marbles.

We haven’t posted for quite a while now due a little trip my Partner Lawri and I took to the top end of Aus. Have been wanting to do this trip for years and have been unable to, mainly due to work committments. We finally bit the bullett and took off in our 4WD and boat for a top end adventure. As you can imagine after driving about 15000km in 7 weeks we took hundreds of photos of our amazing country, so here are a couple to check out:
My lovely partner Lawri and I had the most amazing time. Here she is taking in the sunset at Ubir in Kakadu National park.

A great mate of mine (Scott) flew up for a visit while we were camped on the Daly River for a bit a Barramundi fishing. Here he is driving our boat and doing what he does best….. Drinking beer!

One of the friendly locals who kept an eye on us all the time while on the Daly.

A magnificent sunset while camping at Yellow waters in kakadu. One of the few times in seven weeks we actually saw a few clouds in the sky.

Another friendly local in the Sea Eagle at Yellow Waters.

Driving through the outback of Aus you see many seens like this. There is always empty stubbies near by….’Outback Carnage!’

Lastly a little cheeky bugger helping himself to my breakfast cereal.
